Geetanjali Bhardwaj (Sharma) lives in Singapore with her family. She paints in Tanjore-style gold relief, acrylic and watercolour; she has written a holiday tale for children and a 350-page Hindi retelling of the story of Khatu Shyam; and she composes and produces devotional music that more than a million people now subscribe to on YouTube. She is also the founder and director of Geetanjali Pte Ltd, an e-commerce company.

A Summer to Remember

Shyam Mahakatha, and two channels
In November, Shri Shyam Mahakatha: 350 pages in Hindi with more than eighty of her own full-colour pictures, and a soundtrack EP to go with it. In December, two YouTube channels began within eleven days of each other: Bal Aastha for children, Divine Tattva Sounds for everyone.

Divine Tattva Sounds received a Gold Creator Award for passing one million subscribers. In March, the first full album, Divine Tattva Sounds Vol. 1, went out on Apple Music.

In the studio
From watercolour at the easel to gold relief on board. A Tanjore piece starts as a drawing. Layers of gesso are built up and carved, gold foil is laid over the relief, and only then come the colours and stones. The finished works are framed and hung at home.
